6961 votants, 52 projets retenus pour un budget de 3,5 millions d’euros. Le bilan du premier budget participatif rennais est très positif. Les Rennaises et les Rennais se sont largement appropriés cet outil innovant de démocratie locale. Avec la charte de la démocratie locale, il participe à revivifier le débat citoyen à Rennes et à affirmer que la politique est l’affaire de tou-te-s.
Les écologistes, avec le Front de Gauche, sont à l’origine du budget participatif rennais, proposition issue du programme de la liste « Changez la ville ».
C’est ainsi près de deux ans de travail qui aboutissent aujourd’hui. C’est une vraie satisfaction et nous tenons à saluer Jean-Marie Goater, adjoint en charge de la démocratie locale, pour son action et son énergie en faveur de ce projet.
